SPRING 2018 CLASSES

Classes at Stone House Farm feature small groups for kids in first through eighth grades, creative and quality art, craft and cooking projects in a nurturing farm and garden environment. To register for the after school classes, please email candi@stonehousefarmbb.com.


Kids in the Kitchen

Mondays • 3:15-5:15 • Grades 6-8

The focus for our cooking classes this year will be creative and healthy foods for teens.
Cost: $148 monthly.

Arts & Crafts

Grades 1-6 • Tuesday 3:30-5:30

Children weaving baskets.

We explore a wide variety of crafting media, including painting, fabric sculpture, basket weaving, needle crafts, mosaics, garden crafts and edible art made in the farm kitchen.
Cost: $148 monthly.


Sewing

WEDNESDAYS: 3:30-5:30 Grades 4-9

We will begin with making our own sewing kit and proceed with sewing skills
by making several options of projects for beginning sewers. Most materials
and fabrics are supplied. Some fabric may need to be purchased by students.

Spring curriculum includes:
Learning to crochet, bead applique, and projects for the sewing machine chosen by class members.

$148 monthly.

2018 SUMMER
ARTS & CRAFTS PROGRAM

Summer activities at Stone House Farm center around arts & crafts, exploration of the world around us, baking in the farm kitchen and daily care for our goats & chickens. Small groups of mixed ages work together to create beautiful things and lasting friendships.

This summer campers will make rugs, sculpt with cement to make birdbaths and word bricks. In the kitchen we will bake pies, breads and more. One teen week, for grades 6-9, will do all of the above, and add more cooking to the mix.

 

Summer fun!

The 2018 summer program meets for five weeks from 9-3 daily, for kids entering grades 1-9.
Class size will be limited to 10 students per week.
Weeks in white are full.
$405 per week.
